There’s a plethora of ‘superyogis’ out there in the world of social media, showing off their sunset yoga poses in exotic locations. Usually extremely difficult poses, which seem designed to ensure us mere mortals feel utterly intimidated by their perfection.
As you know, Fierce Grace is a broad church, created to work for every body, no matter what your shape, size or ability. We want to help you feel fitter, stronger, more energized, inspired, and the best version of you and our classes are designed to help you do that every time you practice. In the meantime, we thought we would share some of the people and websites that have inspired us at Fierce Grace Brixton every day…
Michele Pernetta: Fierce Grace’s founder is our main inspiration for many reasons, not least her down-to-earth approach, sense of humour and obvious genius in creating the Fierce Grace Five. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of being taught and inspired by her, consider booking a place at one of the Fierce Grace retreats this summer or catching her south of the river teaching her signature Fierce Grace class here at FGB – 9th September 7pm.
Hip & Healthy: Hip & Healthy started life as a digital magazine and has evolved into an online stockist of activewear too, but we love it for the recipes, the inspired tips and the non-preachy tone. Inspiring without being intimidating, read it online or sign up for their newsletter for inbox inspiration.
The Numinous: Billed as ‘material girl meets mystical world’, The Numinous founder Ruby Warrington and her contributors write about ‘the now age’ and the site rapidly gaining a following from those interested in exploring the world that opens up when you start a spiritual practice like yoga. The founder is British but now based in the States so there is a slightly US-centric bias, but this site is beautiful, slightly bonkers and utterly brilliant. Recent topics include ‘how to survive your first time at Burning Man’, reincarnation and the good karma diet.
