Fierce Grace Brixton meets Brazilian Fitness Fashion Founder Cida Morrison

We are big fans of Primavera Fitness founder, Cida Morrison, and her yoga-wear so have invited her to host a pop up sale in the studio on the 6th June. Colourful and produced in performance enhancing fabrics, it’s a touch of Rio in South London so if you are thinking of adding some colour to your hot yoga wardrobe find out more about the collection here…

Cida’s Brazilian-Jamaican roots and her passion for samba and ballroom dancing are a huge influence in her Primavera collections, which are designed in London and ethically made in Brazil by a fairly paid collective.

“I spent a year in Rio de Janeiro learning and training in Gafiera (Brazilian ballroom dancing) wearing capri leggings, jumpsuits and tops. As a dancer and yoga enthusiast I saw a gap in the market for stylish fitness wear and decided to design my own collection. The result is an eclectic mix of patterns, prints, colours for every fitness and dance enthusiast.”

The range is made using performance enhancing fabrics such as Santa Constancia Supplex, a dry-fit technological advanced fabric, which shapes the body with greater firmness giving greater support during exercise. Ideal for hot yoga, where comfort is king, her Primavera range helps you enjoy free movement of the body but also the technology of the fabrics helps keep you cool!

Currently the Primavera collection is only for ladies, but Cida hopes to introduce a men’s range soon. The pop up will run all day Saturday, and prices start at £20.
