Complimentary runners class on 23rd May promises happy hamstrings
Runners who are injury-prone or a martyr to tight hamstrings sign up now, as Brixton’s hottest yoga studio, Fierce Grace Brixton, hosts a dedicated runners class for non-members on the 23rd May. Teacher Krzrysztof Grabowski will run a specially adapted Fierce Grace runners session, focusing on addressing runner-specific conditions and complaints, perfect for runners who have never practiced hot yoga before and are curious about what it can offer them.
The complimentary class is ideal for local runners looking for a way to enhance and compliment their training. Designed to be educational, as well as fun, Krzrysztof will take runners through poses from the Fierce Grace series, explaining the pose and its benefits at each step, to facilitate a really deep stretch, and strength and stamina building.
Studio owner Katie Young Gerald comments: “Runners are notorious for not stretching properly, leaving them with tight hamstrings, stiff hips or knees and prone to injury. Just one class a week could keep runners road-ready, or help them work through injuries safely. We would love to invite local runners to sign up, come on down and try it for themselves.”
